Vacuum-magnetic spraying technology allows for the application of transparent layers of silver and silicon nitride atoms to protect the silver. With this treatment, the glass is able to create the same effect as in a thermos - the heat stays inside, rather than "heating" the street.

The advantages of silver windows over conventional double-glazed windows are obvious:

  1. The heat in the rooms is retained better with 40% compared to conventional double-glazed windows.
  2. Less risk of condensation, no "chill" from the window. The temperature of heat-saving glass with silver coating is 6°C higher than that of ordinary glass.
  3. In summer, the room heats up less due to better reflection of sunlight from the glass surface.
  4. Heat resources are saved for space heating in winter and cooling with air conditioning in summer.
  5. The light transmission of the "silver windows" is almost the same as that of ordinary double-glazed windows.

The presence of silver layers on the glass can only be detected with the help of special devices.

"Silver windows" must have all the necessary certificates of conformity, including the ENVIRONMENTAL certificate, which, for example, states:

  • no lead emissions;
  • permission for installation in children's and medical institutions;
  • discoloration of glass under the influence of external factors;
  • etc.

To answer the main question of whether it is advisable to use silver-coated glass, the following criteria should be taken into account:

  • the cost of heating;
  • the cost of air conditioning;
  • location of the building;
  • heat capacity of building materials;
  • facade orientation - the side of the world to which the windows face;
  • sources of heat radiation in the room.
  • condition and type of engineering networks - ventilation, heating, electricity;
  • functional type of premises - residential or non-residential.

Energy-saving windows with spraying are part of a "smart home" that is built using modern technologies aimed at:

  • Reduced consumption of resources for heating, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning, and water supply;
  • minimizing environmental pollution;
  • full or partial automation of buildings.

Note. The colloquial name "ishka" arose from the labeling. Windows with silver coating are marked with the letter "I".
